Community Spotlight

Shining a Light on Real Impact

At the Archer Rivas Foundation, we believe in the power of people—and the stories that inspire lasting change. Our Community Spotlight page is dedicated to honoring the students, individuals, and organizations who embody hope, resilience, and service. Whether it’s a high school senior leading through volunteerism, someone thriving in recovery, or a local partner creating opportunity, these spotlights reflect the heart of our mission.

Each story showcases how community support, access to resources, and compassion can transform lives—and reminds us that everyone has the power to make a difference.

We’re proud to uplift those making an impact, and we invite you to celebrate with us.

Ferris ASL Club

The Ferris High School ASL Club is a dedicated group of students who promote American Sign Language and inclusivity in their community. Recently, the Archer Rivas Foundation proudly donated to support their efforts—helping expand educational opportunities, resources, and outreach programs. This partnership shows a shared mission to empower youth, support all forms of communication, and uplift future changemakers.

The Archer Rivas Foundation is excited to take part in this year’s Crescenta Valley Hometown Country Fair as part of our continued mission to support local communities through recovery, education, and outreach. As part of the festivities, ARF will showcase two classic vehicles in the fair’s car display. A beautifully restored 1952 Chevy Suburban and a 1967 Mustang will be featured, celebrating vintage charm and community pride.

In addition to our car entries, ARF will be hosting a raffle for an exciting 2-night Las Vegas getaway, valued at up to $1,500! All proceeds from the raffle will directly support our scholarships for high school seniors, recovery resource referrals, and local assistance programs.

Stop by our booth to meet the ARF team, see the vehicles up close, enter the raffle, and learn how you can support a brighter future—one person, one family, one community at a time.
